IN a move designed to cater for the ever growing needs of its customers and prospects, Raj Singh Insurance Brokers officially launched its state-of-the-art website to the general public recently.
This site is an enhanced version of its initial site created a few years ago, www.rsi-group.com, but which has now been scrapped and replaced by a simple, modern and responsive website, www.rsi.gy.
This new website features all the services and products that can be obtained through the RSI Group in Guyana and Florida. It details key members of the management team in Guyana, where the head office is located in Alberttown and its branch office located in Corriverton, Berbice. All of the companies’ contact information is easily accessible from this site, which has special links to its Florida Office and its own website.
In addition, each staff member has his/her own individual email address for direct communication with the RSI clientele. Noteworthy is the fact that RSI had won the GCCI Business of the Year Award in 2008.
In a brief interview, CEO Rajendra Singh noted, “Our site has a quick quote request and contact forms, along with more detailed proposal forms for Aviation, Marine and Group insurances to be used by existing or new clients. These requests would be responded to on a very timely basis, based on the nature of the requests, with quotes for some personalized cover to be available almost immediately or within 24 hrs, since these can be quoted in-house, whilst the other more complex classes will require our approach to the market for quotes and probably additional underwriting information.
“RSI is catering for the needs of its customers, who may not have the time to visit its offices to be able to transact their business in an efficient and timely manner.
“It is anticipated that more and more customers will desire to have their insurance providers possess a strong online presence, and RSI is responding to those calls,” he said.
He continued: “RSI continues to lead the marketplace in providing innovative and proactive solutions for the growing sophistication of our insuring public. Three years ago, we opened our first branch office in Corriverton, Berbice, (and it) has since been hailed as a tremendous success. Plans are afoot to have more of such offices opened at other strategic locations.
“The launching of this website will now address another gaping need of another segment of our customer base that is rapidly developing within our economy. Our website will be fully functional, with all types of systems — be they desktops, tablets or mobile phones. Persons will now be able to arrange insurance cover through their mobile phones, and obtain proof of such cover,” he disclosed.
